Please use the following information to assist with your poster design.
- Posters should be A0 size, either portrait OR landscape
- You must print your poster before leaving your home country
- We will provide velcro or pins to hang your poster
- Posters should be placed on your board on your designated day before the keynote and collected at the end of the day. Posters that are left past their day will be disposed in the rubbish.
Below are some tips to help you with your poster design.
- Use a clear layout with logical flow from left to right or top to bottom
- Keep the design simple and use white space to avoid clutter
- Make the title readable from 6 feet away (72-96 point font)
- Use 24-32 point font for body text
- Limit text and use bullet points over paragraphs
- Include high-quality figures and charts that support key points
- Ensure all visuals are large enough to read from a distance
- Lead with your most important findings prominently displayed
- Structure with clear headings: Background, Method, Results, Discussion, Conclusion
- List all author names and contact details of the corresponding author
- Prepare a 2-3 minute spoken summary of your main points to share with people
